Charles “Buddy” Flitman, 90, beloved husband of Arlene, nee Garber for almost 60 years; loving father of Marla, Pamela (Bill) Bell and David; treasured cousin of Arnold and Elaine Flitman; dear brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend of many. Chapel service Monday 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to City of Hope. I always remember this man singing with my daughter playing in the bed with my daughter and watching many many tv shows with her. My daughter is four and she does not understand death yet so she still asks were “uncle Buddy” is each and every day and she misses him so much she loved him as so many people did his memory and things he did with each person will last a life time. I don’t see my four year old or myself for that not remembering a day without him. We love you Buddy and Cant wait to see you again someday
